I have grown up around horses. As a child, I frequently rode horses around Griffith Park, California. As a teenager, I rented horses at numerous Southern California stables.

As an adult I purchased several horses that included, Paint, Thoroughbred, and Quarter Horses. I purcased a Shetland Pony for my daughter. My wife took dressage training and I rode Western.

From the beginning, I was struck by the, power, grace, beauty and spirit of horses.

I was very impressed by the individual character of each horse. My black and white Paint, Adam (named for the TV series Adam-12) was 16.2 hands and a terrific trail horse.

Shows

With a few exceptions, I do not contract as "the show photographer" and therefore do not photograph every participant at the event.

Ranch and Farm Shoot

Minimum fee for 1/2 Day is $250.00 up to 4 hours. Full day fee (up to 8 hours) is $400.00.
Mileage for travel is .50 cents per mile, round trip.

Farm and Ranch call fees for a private session start at $175 per horse with discounted rates for multiple horses. I also offer Ranch and Farm Photography Days, an alternative with multiple people desiring a photo shoot without the expense of a private session. The cost is only $55 per person. A minimum participation of 4 horses is required.

If location and travel time on a half day shoot is more than two hours or 130 miles each way, the full day rate will apply and the client may be required to provide overnight lodging.

Magazine Ads and Flyers

A fee of $250.00 per single page layout (no logo design).
